Excellence Can’t Be Ignored

Bible Verse:

…a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit (Proverbs 17:27)

Message:

Walking in excellence is a choice you can make! That means deciding to do things really well and giving your best in everything you do. Jesus said, “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill can’t be hidden” (Matthew 5:14). In Matthew 5:16, He also said, “Let your light shine before people, so they can see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”

Think about it: yes, you’re shining, but are you shining brightly enough to help others see the goodness of God? It doesn’t matter what others say—make up your mind to be so good at what you do that everyone notices. When you do things with excellence, you become a great example and show others how to live in a way that pleases God.

Some people have lots of important jobs because they’re known for doing things with excellence. They’re reliable and always do their best, so others trust them with new tasks. That’s why excellence can’t be ignored!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the spirit of excellence that’s at work in me. I continually walk in excellence, and as such, my light shines ever so brightly and brings glory to your Name. I function in divine wisdom and diligence to consistently produce outstanding results, and my commitment to excellence is a testimony of your grace and goodness in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
