Prioritise Wisdom

TO THE BIBLE: Proverbs 4:7
“Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.”

LET’S TALK
As you journey through life, I want you to know that one thing is most important: having the wisdom of God—which is His Word—function in you.

It doesn’t matter how educated you become, how many books you read, or what you get to know in or about life; if you don’t have the Word in you, you can’t function in the wisdom of God.

All you’d have is the wisdom of men, which can only take you some distance, because it’s limited, but the wisdom of God will take you all the way.

No wonder King Solomon tells us in Proverbs 4:7, “Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore, get wisdom…” This is because with wisdom you’re set up for a life of endless victories and unlimited possibilities, where the miraculous becomes your daily experience.

God gives wisdom (Proverbs 2:6), because He knows you can’t be more successful than the level of wisdom you have in you. And that’s why He gave you His Word, for through the Word, wisdom is not only imparted to your spirit, it is also increased.

God’s wisdom gives you an excellent way of thinking and doing things; it causes you to make excellent decisions and walk in the perfect will of God.

When you function in God’s wisdom, you’ll always be glad about your decisions and choices, because you’ll be propelled by wisdom into the center of God’s will all the time. So go for wisdom today!

Dear Father, I declare that your wisdom is functioning in me mightily, and I’m excelling in good judgment, having the right ideas and making the right decisions, always. I’m filled with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
