When Grace Is Multiplied

When Grace Is Multiplied Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord (2 Peter 1:2).   Our opening scripture tells us how grace and peace can be multiplied in your life: it’s through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. That means the more you study to know more about God, and the Lord Jesus, the greater the grace of God that’ll be at work in your life. When the grace

The Day Of His Mercy And Grace

The Day Of His Mercy And Grace  …Mercy triumphs over judgment! (James 2:13 NIV).   Someone might see the evil, wickedness, deception, suffering and cruelty in the world today and conclude they’re a result of God’s judgment due to sin. But that’s not entirely true. We’re in the day of God’s mercy and His grace; we’re in a new dispensation; so it’s different today from how it was in the Old Testament. The evil happenings in the world today aren’t judgments

 Full Of Grace

Full Of Grace  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14).   The opening verse is one of the descriptions given to us in Scripture of the Lord Jesus; He’s full of grace and truth. Are you aware that the same is true about you? In the 16th verse, it says, “And of his fullness have all

More than Favoured Creatures

MORE THAN FAVOURED CREATURES Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you (John 15:13-15). As Christians, we’re more than servants of righteousness or God’s favoured creatures; we’re joint-heirs with Christ. We’re literally, and vitally, born of God, with His life in our spirits. That makes us one with Him. Some Christians

The Ability, Favour, and Direction to Prosper

The Ability, Favour, and Direction to Prosper And…I will bless thee…and thou shalt be a blessing (Genesis 12:2). There’re lots of beautiful definitions for the word “blessing” or the infinitive, “bless”; one of them is the invocation of the ability, favour, and direction to prosper. When you’re blessed, the ability to prosper is invoked in your life; it’s inherent in you and works all the time. You have the ability to succeed, such that anything that concerns you turns out excellently. The

Divinely Favoured And Positioned

Divinely Favoured And Positioned And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil (2 Kings 4:2). There’re those who have become despondent because they lost their job or because their business took a tailspin. Being born again, such things shouldn’t affect you. That you lost your job doesn’t mean anything, and the reason you lost

Blessed And Highly Favoured

Blessed And Highly Favoured To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved (Ephesians 1:6). The word “accepted” in the scripture above is “charitoo” (Greek), and it means to grace; that ̄ is, to be imbued with special honour; make accepted or be highly favoured. So, the scripture should actually read, “…He has made us highly favoured in the beloved.” Hallelujah! Someone in Scripture who got such a description was Mary.

Divinely Favoured

Divinely Favoured And from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace (John 1:16 ESV). If you’re a child of God, you’re divinely favoured, and it’s important that you recognize it. When we talk about being divinely favoured, it means that God’s grace has been lavished upon you in Christ Jesus. The Bible says, “For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ” (John 1:17). Romans 5:17 says, “For if by one man’s

You’re Highly Favoured

You’re Highly Favoured But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30)   As a Christian, the favour of God upon your life has distinguished and qualified you to be the head and not the tail, to be the best and receive the best. Psalm 5:12 says, “For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.” In

Highly Favoured

Highly Favoured (You’re Specially Favoured By The Lord!) TO THE BIBLE: John 1:16“And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.” LET’S TALKWhen the angel of the Lord appeared before Mary in Luke 1:28, he greeted her in a very special way. He said, “Rejoice, highly favored one…” This same expression is used in Ephesians 1:6, but wrongly translated as “accepted.” The Greek is “charitoo” and it means “to grace or be imbued with special honour,” or
